purpose

“The purpose of the African American Collegiate & Youth Golfers Hall of Fame is to establish an organization were the best young golfers can challengingly meet, share their golf stories and make new friends from around the globe.”

Goals:

  • To identify and reward those young persons who have dedicated themselves to excellence in their education and golf habits;
  • To recognize the outstanding accomplishments of young, talented golfers by generating scholarships and other financial support for their future achievements in the golf profession;
  • To provide a springboard and continuing opportunity for young golfers to learn and respect those in the African American Golfers Hall of Fame who persevered and have paved the way for their futures in golf;
  • To instill a sense of volunteerism and giving back in our young golfers.

"Man, I'm in the World Golf Hall of Fame. Don't forget that, now. I'm in the World Golf Hall of Fame with all the players. That little old golf I played was all right, wasn't it?"
